Julia is now volunteering to give hugs and kisses. She has received many, many from us and watches our behavior carefully. What is better than feeling little arms sneak around your neck and two little lips plant a kiss on a cheek. Almost seven months home and what a joy!

Why Hari? . . . Because Hari is the nick name that we used to talk about our second child who has been in our hearts and dreams for a very long time.
I am a new gardener in Madison, Wisconsin, having come from the 'far' reaches of zone 6. Spring '08 is the first time I get to see what the last gardener left behind which is lots and lots of plants but without a discernable design.
